Shopping is fun but only when one is out to buy clothes and wearable accessories. Shopping for home products is another thing all by itself. Its taxing to make a list of things to buy and to locate them in huge supermarkets where they are placed counter and shelf by shelf. Lately, I always get in trouble with my mother. I do not know what's with mom lately. She seems so uptight that even little things irk her so easily. She seems so sensitive that I had to ask her one time, should my words always have meaning to you? I mean, these are just mere expressions and you shouldn't be taking everything so personally. But mom is upset already. It's good that I have already made plans as to how I am going to make peace with her. When I went to the mall earlier, I saw this lovely pair of shoes that I am sure she will really like. I know that as soon as I give the shoes to her, she would forget about the little misunderstanding we had this morning. I looked for mom right away when I got home. She was not in the kitchen so I assumed that she was in her room. I knocked two times before I opened the door. There she was lying on her bed. She turned around and smiled when she saw me with a nicely wrapped box. She knew it was a peace offering.

Marriage is an institution that very few want to get into. The reason most of them give is they are not ready to carry the burdens that come with it. However if one is prepared to take the package and whatever that it comes with, find their way out. Married parents have rights that protect them. These rights apply to both the fathers and mothers. The married fathers rights and the married mothers rights include the right to custody of their children, provision of basic needs and protection. Both parents of a child have equal rights to their children. They are expected to be there for them and provide for them everything that they need that is right. Raising them in an upright manner is another thing that is expected of the parents of children. It is their right to discipline their children but the correct way. By saying correct way means that, a way that doesn't infringe their rights as children. Parents, as much as they want their rights to be respected, they should do the same with the rights of their children. |

I know I am not perfect but I am not a bad person. I honestly believe that I deserve to be happy, too. So when I caught Marco cheating on me, I did not have second thoughts of breaking up with him. I still remember that look of disbelief on Marco's face when I told him that it was over between us. He could not believe what he heard. He always thought I was too weak to let him go. He believed that I could not live without him. Well, I do not blame him for thinking so because for a time, I also thought that life was no good without Marco. But one day, while I was checking out http://www.couldthe.com, it just dawned on me that I am worth so much more than what I think. No one deserves to be treated like a doormat and being around Marco makes me feel just that...nothing but a doormat. But now I know better. I deserve so much better. I can't wait to start life anew without Marco. |

Lola told us that her auntie who has never been married is working as a Family Counselor. Isn't that ironic how someone who has never been married is counseling married couple? Lola finds her aunties profession as psychologist a bit odd and confusing sensing how she could manage to help out others with their problems especially with their lives and couldn't do something about her lack of social life. She would never voice out her opinions out loud and despite all this she has deep respect for her auntie. The other day when Elizabeth seemed troubled about something but was unwilling to talk about it she recommended either seeking parental advice or talking to a psychologist or a psychiatrist about it. Lola said if Elizabeth wants she could accompany her to her auntie and a session with her auntie would of course be free of charge. Elizabeth that it is alright she does not need professional help. Her issues have something to do at home and she said she will be able to sort it all out in time.

I know each parent is going to think that their child is going to be the best one on the soccer team and I hope you are right. When you go to get your child on the local soccer team you have to fill out a parental permission and medical consent form before the child can play. All teams require this so that it keeps them from having any legal problems later on if the child should get hurt and this goes for just about any competitive sport you will find since there is a good chance that your child could become injured while playing any contact sport. Having parents to sign parental permission and medical consent form well relinquish any problems that they may have legally if their child is hurt from the organization that they are playing for. When I played football my parents had to sign the same for before I could play football and every year they had to sign the same form since I've played eight years of football. So if you want your child to play make sure that you sign these forms and it is a good idea to carry medical insurance. |

Richard was seen on TV just a while ago. He sang a song from his first album and everyone fell in love with it. It is easy to say that he will be a hit in show business because Richard is very charming and it is obvious that the audience loves him. It is just a matter of time for his star to shine brightly. I would never have known that he had the star quality. Yes, I know Richard personally. You see, aside from being in the same neighborhood, we also went to the same high school. For a time, we were each other's best friend until we went to college and found new friends. I never heard again from Richard but I knew that he moved to the city. Imagine my surprise when I saw him on TV a few weeks ago. I have tried to contact him several times but I could not seem to get through. He must have changed his number already. But I heard from his sister that Richard called about two days ago and asked, how do I find out who called me? I told his sister it was probably my number that Richard was referring to. A few days later, my phone rang and yes, it was Richard. |

Dressing is the major issue now in the teenage world . Most nations are trying to curb the rate of nudity going about as the teenagers are getting more high and want to experience the world but they do not realize that going nude or staying half dressed does not actually make them more classy. I have come to learn that when you are beautiful you stay beautiful no matter what you wear and most especially for the youths a simple jean and a shirt can make you look so good. The government is now checking the parents rights in child dressing because it all starts at home and truly charity does begin at home. To start tackling the issue of teenage nudity, it has to start with individual parents and advising their children on doing the right thing and wearing the right clothes . That would be a major improvement at tackling this issue. Then secondly school should try and set a dress code for their students also so this will also go a long way in helping too. |

Can you remember any day in recent years that you could not send at least a text to anyone? Difficult isn&rsquot it. Since mobile phones have become ubiquitous in the country, text messaging is now an habit for many people. Hardly an hour passes by than thousands of text messages are not sent to relatives, friends or even colleagues. And this is a global practice. As text messaging grows as a major source of communication, medics are concerned about its physical damage caused by repeated pressing of buttons not to talk of the pain mapped on the body and fingers. Medics are making an awareness and also trying to impose parental choice in education of their children when it comes to test messaging. Common sense approaches should be made when it comes to test for example changing hands when they hurt or taking breaks after several minutes of sending text.
