My Berkshire photographer got me into my photography hobby. It's been a revelation since I picked up my camera and decided to go out and take nature shots. There's so much to consider - the position of the sun, the distance your object is from your camera, the focus, the aperture - it allows for so much creativity - much more than I had realised. I love taking photos in that "magic hour" the hour before sunset. There's so many ways to use the sun - even using a bit of lens flare which used to be seen as a "mistake", but now is rather fashionable to include in the shot. The best thing about photography is that there's no risk now we are in the digital era. You can just snap away to your heart's content and edit out the photos you don't want. I probably delete 50 photos for every one I keep. |
