Glad to Have Found a Family in Canada

Today is Christmas and for sure the whole world celebrates. We have all reasons to do so because after all, today marks the greatest event in the history of mankind. When Jesus Christ was born, the human race was saved and that alone is a cause to celebrate, isn't it? Just the other day, I went to a good friend's place. Because his family knew that I was alone in Canada, they invited me to join them for dinner. I was grateful of course. It is lonely to celebrate Christmas alone. I have tried it a couple of times before. Last year, I remember that I ended up in the national library, hoping to learn how to find isbn number of some old books that I was interested in. It was a very lonely Christmas, so lonely in fact that I actually thought of going home to New York for a time. But on second thought, I also knew that I could not leave my job just like that so I stayed. I'm glad I did. Now, it is not as lonely anymore.
