Cars and Transport Articles

I traveled through part of Costa Rica in a van back in 2009, and it was an amazing experience. I was living in the country at the time, and a group of us decided that we'd like to see more of the Pacific coast, especially some of the top surf destinations. We wanted a van because we could easily transport our surf boards and at least a few of us could sleep inside the van at night, while the rest of us camped outside. My friend Eric was the main driver, mostly because he owned a van back (primarily selling Citroen Nemo van parts) in the United States and had a valid license. Costa Rica has notoriously tricky roads, oftentimes unpaved and through the mountains, and Eric did an awesome job. I always felt safe while in the van when Eric was driving. He was careful and didn't take any risks on the road, thank goodness! I would definitely take a similar van trip again, maybe this time through another Central American country. |

When I bought my first car from a car dealers in Aberdeen, I was 21 years old, and I'm not ashamed to say that I was absolutely terrified of the entire process. I knew nothing about automobiles, and I was mortified at the amount of money I was about to fork over in order to acquire a set of wheels. Thankfully, I had my parents there to not only calm me down, but help me make the important decision as well. My dad spent several years in an auto plant assembling cars and trucks himself, so he was a huge help in narrowing it down to only a couple models to choose between. When all was said and done, I ended up buying a Vauxhall Corsa. I chose this car because not only is it small and compact, but it handles well on the road. If there's two tips I can share with first-time buyers, they would be to first and foremost find a vehicle you are comfortable behind the wheel in. The last thing you want is to get out on the open road and feel uncomfortable and out of your element. The second tip I have is to find a gar that gets excellent gas mileage. The money you spend on the car will be less than you'll spend in years to come constantly stopping at the nearest pump to fill up on gas. We all know gas prices are outrageous these days, so purchasing a vehicle that gets good gas mileage is absolutely essential if you're on any kind of a budget financially. |

Sam was dropping by the post office to send something overseas. He was with his girlfriend at that time who was also sending postcards to her family who was now living abroad. That time, Sam's SUV was parked right in front of the post office. He didn't know that a traffic officer was staying near the post office. He was going to get something from the car when he saw a parking ticket under the wiper of the car. He wasn't charged for parking in front of the post office. His girlfriend also went to the car to get more mail to send. She noticed that Sam was holding something. She read the ticket, car tax at post office. She looked at Sam who was very puzzled. You don't know what that piece of paper is? It means that you can pay your car tax at the post office. I got something like that the other day when I was parking my car in front of the supermarket. Sam folded the paper and inserted it in his wallet. |

As our population grows, chaos never stops to start growing too. Maybe this could be a result of how parents have molded their children in a less appropriate manner. Younger generations we have right now have a number of offenses done. They do drugs join fraternity groups, do hazing, car napping and a lot of heinous actions. Motoring offence codes is a very challenging task to do to maintain a peaceful society. With this kind of monitoring, officials can take hold of any problems and give those involved the lessons they deserve to learn. The hardest part of supervising such codes is on maintaining its consistency. Nowadays, a number of officers can be bribed at and just let things go like nothing happened. It is sad to hear how officers who are trained with value and skills end up being bought by law violators. The result of having this kind of problems would be taking actions not only to the violators as well as those monitoring them. When legalities are tackled, it is important to be a good follower and a good example to all. |
