posted on 13 June 2013

Creating a group on Facebook is usually free and any Facebook user can create a group as long as they have an agenda for the group, a name and the people who will be sharing in the group. If you are wondering how to create a group in facebook, you have to start by clicking on 'create a group' icon on your Facebook home page. From there, you will be directed on the information that will be required for the group to be created by Facebook. After entering he information required including the name of the group, the group will be created, and then you will start requesting people to join the group. Make sure that the agenda of the group is correspondence to the people you will invite, for instance if the group is about partying, you will be forced to invite youngsters to the group and not th old folks. If the group is based on a certain agenda and after sometime the agenda is over, you can easily close the group by going to the group's page ad clicking on 'cancel group' icon. It is that simple.

Megan Fox and Kaley Cuoco in Crimes of Fashion

posted on 14 April 2013

I was probably 13 years old when I first saw Charmed, it was shown on Studio 23 every Monday nights from 9 PM to 10 PM and I have become a huge fan of the TV series since then. Because of school and moms restriction on watching TV during school nights I was not able to watch the show consistently. 10 years later I managed to secure the DVDs for all 8 seasons and have watched them uninterrupted. My favorite Charmed sister is Phoebe Halliwell played by Alyssa Milano and it was from this TV show that I came to know of another cute actress, kaley cuoco, I find her character in Charmed really amusing so I have taken it upon myself to check out other movies she is in. I downloaded and watched a movie entitled Crimes of Fashion which also stars Megan Fox. The movie was released as direct to TV by ABC channel and it is one of those feel good movies that I so love watching. I shared this movie with Jonalyn and she too enjoyed.

Monica and I Went to the Comic Shop

posted on 21 January 2013

The Comic shop that opened down on 5th street is a sure hit amongst teenagers and even adults. During their opening day there were so many people Lindsay and I decided to go check it out later. Yesterday I went there with Monica and I have to say their merchandise is pretty impressive. They have a very extensive collection at an affordable price. While checking out the bi-shounen shelf I noticed two teenagers checking out several comic books. While the other one was busy flipping through the pages of one manga the other one was mumbling something about MySpace Security and their Facebook page. It made me realize that Facebook is a household name and even youngsters know about it. Monica found me and showed me the contents of her shopping basket. Seriously if Monica continues to shop the way she does now she would end up being caught deep in a credit card debt. I kept my mouth shut knowing how Monica dislikes being told about her financial situation. Her cart is almost full while I only have 5 comic books in my hands.

Lateralus by TOOL, A Spiritual Experience

posted on 14 October 2012

There is no album quite like Lateralus. No album has the feeling of hitting the full spectrum of different emotions and energies quite like Lateralus does. The album itself has a feeling of roundness and completion where each song is a step towards the next song and so on. It is one transformative synergistic experience that involves mind, body, and spirit. Having just completed some sound engineering work in a residential recording studio, I can also appreciate the production quality of this album. You can rock out, you can cry, you can forgive, and be forgiven all in one musical experience. When I first heard Lateralus I wasn’t immediately taken back by it, I was tangled, not wanting to keep up and bored because it didn’t satisfy my impatient musical taste. But as most TOOL fans learn, TOOL is an acquired taste. You have to listen and listen until you finally get it and it hit’s home for you. Lateralus is no exception, though there are those hits like Schism and Parabola, whose intensity and shortness of breadth give the average listener a taster. You can’t truly experience this album unless you listen to the whole thing through, alone, in a dark quiet space.

Life is marked by distinction in every corner

posted on 4 October 2012

There are numerous books in the market to cater for everyone's needs. No two people will ever be the same and therefore their tastes in books will always be different. Even twins have differences in what they prefer. One may be adventurous and choose books to suit his character while the other one may prefer reading about facts and not fiction. Different phases in one's life may make them prefer a certain type of book. A sick person may look for books which talk about increasing his immunity against disease, whereas a healthy person may be into building up his self esteem. Changes occur everywhere and you will find that systems are also changing at the same rate as people. A publisher may find that they need to convert isbn 10 to 13 because the old format is no longer being used. That does not mean that there is something wrong with it. It may just be a way to phase out an old system and come up with a more efficient one for usage.

Locating Friends Made Easy with Facebook Contacts

posted on 22 July 2012

Facebook is among the most popular social networking sites in the Internet today. With facebook, old friends and colleagues are now able to get in contact again after so many years of not keeping in touch with each other. Contact information can be shown or hidden depending on the preferred security setting of the account owner. In case that the contact information is locked, getting the phone number or other contact details needs the approval of the said contact. As an alternative, you can send message to the contact via Facebook messaging system stating your intention of asking for the phone number and other details. Facebook phone number identification is easy if the information of the contact is unlocked. However, most facebook users have fear that their information might be used by other people in a not so good way that's why most users prefer to have their contact information private. Facebook is a good friend finder and one of the most visited sites where you can meet old friends and even find one.

Glad to Have Found a Family in Canada

posted on 14 July 2012

Today is Christmas and for sure the whole world celebrates. We have all reasons to do so because after all, today marks the greatest event in the history of mankind. When Jesus Christ was born, the human race was saved and that alone is a cause to celebrate, isn't it? Just the other day, I went to a good friend's place. Because his family knew that I was alone in Canada, they invited me to join them for dinner. I was grateful of course. It is lonely to celebrate Christmas alone. I have tried it a couple of times before. Last year, I remember that I ended up in the national library, hoping to learn how to find isbn number of some old books that I was interested in. It was a very lonely Christmas, so lonely in fact that I actually thought of going home to New York for a time. But on second thought, I also knew that I could not leave my job just like that so I stayed. I'm glad I did. Now, it is not as lonely anymore.
